No pancakes at Bread & Honey Festival

The annual Streetsville Rotary Easter Seals Pancake Breakfast on the Sunday morning of Bread & Honey Festival weekend has been cancelled this year because the Vic Johnston Community Centre is being renovated.
“Another venue cannot be located that would satisfy the physical and emotional requirements of the event,” said Ayoub Ali, president-elect of Streetsville Rotary.
Ali said the tradition will be renewed in 2009.
The Bread & Honey Festival takes place June 6-8 in Streetsville. Now in its 35th year, it has been jointly run since 1984 by the Rotary Club, Kinsmen Club and Lions Club.
