Majors attending Teddy Bear picnic

Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors will attend the Teddy Bears Picnic this Sunday afternoon in support of Clarkson Village’s 200th anniversary.
The event will take place at Benares Historic House Museum, which is located at 1507 Clarkson Rd. N.
The Majors' hockey inflatable unit will be set up on-site from noon-4 p.m. and the community events team will be on hand to distribute free items to fans.
The Teddy Bears Picnic, in its 14th year, is an annual family event that features musical entertainment, children’s activities and a Teddy Bear parade.
The Majors 2008-09 regular season kicks off when they visit the Barrie Colts on Sept. 18. Their home opener goes Oct. 3 when they take on Niagara IceDogs.
For more information on season tickets, group packages and private suites, call 905-502-7788.
