Members of Mississauga's latest hockey acquisition were out and about yesterday for a party in the park at the City's Civic Square.
The free event featured members of the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors, kite making, jugglers, children’s races and live entertainment.
The Ontario Hockey League Majors vacated Toronto’s St. Michael’s Arena at the end of last season and have moved into the Hershey Centre for the 2007-08 calendar.
The team is scheduled to open on the road in St. Catharines against the Niagara IceDogs on Friday, Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m.
