Nearly 380 pasta lovers dished out $150,000 for the Trillium Health Centre, devouring a feast of Italian pasta last Friday at the fourth annual Pasta Festa.
The event was organized by Trillium board member Ralph Chiodo and Italian doctors working at Trillium.
It was held at Holy Angels banquet hall in Etobicoke. Diners who paid $250 for their ticket were treated to a night of fine Italian cuisine.
All funds raised went to the hospital.
"Members of my family are served by Trillium and I want to help them (the hospital)," said Chiodo. "One of my favourite things to do is to cook and watch people have fun."
