DeGrace to play ball at Arkansas State

After helping Connors State College advance to the National Junior College World Series, Mississauga’s Kyle DeGrace is moving on up.
DeGrace signed a letter of intent earlier today to play baseball at Arkansas State University next season.
“We are excited about Kyle joining the Red Wolves baseball family,” said Arkansas State head coach Tommy Raffo. “He will be an excellent addition to this year‘s recruiting class. He brings a lot to the table as he can play many positions. He brings experience as a catcher, a corner infielder and corner outfielder.
“Kyle has produced offensively at the junior college level and we are looking forward to him contributing to Arkansas State baseball.”
As a sophomore at Connors State, the 5-foot-11 DeGrace hit .402 with 16 home runs and 56 runs batted in. He was a first-team All-Region 2 selection and a first-team All-South Central District selection under the direction of head coach Perry Keith.
Prior to his two seasons at Connors State, DeGrace played in the Ontario Blue Jays organization under head coach Dan Bleiwas.
