Young drivers absurd?

Dear Editor:
Re: March 26, ‘Teen charged in fatal...’
After reading the article about the teen charged in a fatal crash, it is absurd that teenagers, aged 17-years-old, are allowed to get behind the wheel. It is apparent that they do not possess the responsible and cautious characteristics needed when in charge of so many people's lives.
To combat such dilemma that will no doubt take even more lives from our community, it is in the interest of parents and politicians to increase the minimum age limit for teenagers to get a driver’s licence. This law will not only save lives, but also make the road a safer for drivers that share the road.
