Hundreds attend Remembrance Day ceremony

Hundreds of people gathered at the Eastview City Cenotaph on Sunday, Nov. 11, to pay tribute on Remembrance Day.

The crowds lined the street, watching as the members in the parade march in step to the beat of the drums before lining up in front of the cenotaph. The parade, organized by the Royal Canadian Legion Eastview branch, included active and retired military personnel, members of the police force and cadets.

A number of wreaths were laid at the cenotaph from various groups, schools, organizations and individuals.
